For my opinion about Bill Frist, that is. Gannett interviewed me about his performance this year, and quotes me and many others in the resulting article.
The quotes are accurate, but my view of Frist as Majority Leader is a little more positive than comes through. I don’t think he’s a strong presidential candidate, but not because of his recent performance as Majority Leader. I think a lot depends on the next Supreme Court nomination. If there is a battle and the Republicans win it, Frist will earn great credit with the base. He still won’t be the Presidential nominee, however.
And, based on everything we know so far, the HCA stock sale investigation is a joke.
