Another staged attack

I’ve noted here several times that Al Franken hasn’t been funny since the expiration of the Al Franken decade. And I know how much it bothers Franken, because my opinion that he hasn’t been funny since 1990 was all Franken asked John about when he lured John to appear on his Air America show; he had invited John on the show purportedly to discuss Nick Coleman’s attack on us in the Star Tribune. (See my retrospective “A former fan’s notes.”)

Thus Franken’s staged attack on “Scott from Colorado” hits a little too close to home for me to find the humor in it, though Michelle Malkin thinks the problem is Franken’s: “Al Franken is cracking up.”
