American Freedom Festival, with jokes?

Brad Miner is editor-in-chief of the conservative book club American Compass. At his Compass Points blog, Brad notes notes that Al Franken will be performing at the American Freedom Festival in honor of Veteran’s Day tomorrow in New York City. Brad notes that his West Point cadet son will be in attendance and promises a full report.

In my view Franken hasn’t been funny since the expiration of the Al Franken decade in 1990. Accordingly, my guess is that the music provided by Franken’s fellow perfomers will be better than the jokes served up by Franken, but I have an open mind on that one.
