Camp Katrina: Documenting Good Works

To the ever-growing list of worthy milblogs, add Camp Katrina, operated by Spc. Phil Van Treuren of the Ohio Army National Guard. Camp Katrina is dedicated to pointing out that “the U.S. military does much more than just kill people and break things, and telling the good news about our soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines every day.” Among other things, Camp Katrina is now assembling a “2006 Weapons Cache Databank, updated daily, which gives bloggers the ability to check out a current list of every bomb and gun our military takes
out of the hands of terrorists.”
