In the heading of his NRO column yesterday, Victor Davis Hanson alludes to Seven Pillars of Wisdom, T.E. Lawrence’s autobiographical account of his work with the Arabs on behalf of Great Britain during World War I: “Three pillars of wisdom.” Hanson writes:

We are supposed to forget that it is de rigueur in raucous Scandinavian popular culture to attack Christianity with impunity.
