Tune In Tomorrow!

I’ll be on the Northern Alliance Radio Network from 11 am to 1 pm (central time) tomorrow, as usual. Listen on the radio, or tune in on the web by going to AM 1280 the Patriot. Starting at noon central, we’ll be talking with Glenn Reynolds (maybe Helen too) about his new book, An Army of Davids. I’m reading it now, and enjoying it immensely–more, frankly, than I expected to. Given that I’ve read InstaPundit nearly every day for four years, along with lots of Glenn’s other writings, I expected it to be good but familiar. I figured Glenn couldn’t have too much to say that would be new.
I was wrong. When I started reading An Army of Davids I dogeared pages to identify particularly interesting points that I wanted to ask Glenn about on the radio. Eventually I realized that every other page was marked, and gave up. The broad theme of the book is familiar: technology, especially computer technology coupled with the internet, has empowered individuals to do many things as well as, and often better than, big organizations can do them. But the variations on that theme are original, often surprising, and intensely interesting. Glenn covers a broad range, from music to national defense, from Africa to Poland, from nanotechnology to space. It’s going to be a fascinating interview; listen in, then buy the book.
