Shakespeare Figures In It

Check out Blog of the Week Joe’s Dartblog for lots of good stuff, including the most eloquent explanation a blogger has yet given for failing to post (much more eloquent than merely saying he had to study for an exam).

Among other things, Joe has a link to the chilling transcript of Flight 93’s cockpit voice recorder. At least one murder appears to be audible on the tape.

Personally, I have mixed feelings about executing Moussaoui; my guess is that he was lying when he testified about his own intended role in the September 11 attacks. But the Moussaoui trial is a vital reminder of the horror of those attacks, and the evil that our government is trying to fight. The more that people are reminded of those things, the less likely they are to decide, for example, that we shouldn’t listen in on the terrorists’ international phone calls.
