Speaking of Iran
Don't miss General Abdorrahim Musavi, Chief of Staff of the Iranian armed forces, in this chilling video clip from Iranian television on Power Line Video. Musavi explains that Iran manufactures its own military equipment specifically for use against the United States: "Knowing that our number one enemy is the criminal America, we focused on it." He says that American power is greatly overestimated, and consists mainly of psychological warfare. America's real strength, he claims, is only 20% to 30% what is commonly believed. And he concludes with a warning that in case of war, Iran will not be kind to American POWs.
In this confrontation, I'm pretty sure that the U.N. is not serious. I'm not sure whether we're serious or not. But I think that Iran is in deadly earnest.
