In search of skimmers past

Thomas Lipscomb continues his autopsy on the New York Times story by Kate Zernike regarding John Kerry’s efforts to engage the claims of the Swift Boat veterans that figured in the 2004 campaign: “John Kerry’s new skimmer scam.” Lipscomb’s column is the second of three triggered by Zernike’s story, his previous one in this series being “The truth, John Kerry and the New York Times.” Tom Bevan provides helpful context for Lipscomb’s column in “The Kerry files — part II.”
