Really, It Should Say “Get Stupid”

Mrs. R. pointed out this item from Page Six, the New York Post’s gossip column, under the heading “Sightings”:

June 13, 2006 — Times publisher Arthur “Pinch” Sulzberger Jr. exiting the Reebok Gym on Columbus Avenue wearing a Jefferson Airplane T-shirt with the words “Get high!” on the back.

Pinch Sulzberger has driven the family business into the ground, transforming what was once a great institution into a laughingstock. Because of his commitment to far-left politics, he has sacrificed the newspaper’s greatest asset, its reputation for accuracy and fairness. This is, I think, the “get high” T-shirt Pinch was wearing:

Pinch’s real problem, though, isn’t drugs; it’s stupidity.
