A toothless watchdog

On Saturday Regime Change Iran carried a translation of the Die Welt story on the IAEA inspector of the Iranian nuclear programs who was fired at the behest of the mullahcracy: “The man who knew too much.” The IAEA tried to spike the publication of the Die Welt article. Today Eli Lake covers the story for the New York Sun: “U.N. nuclear chief pulled inspector at Iran’s request.”

At NRO, Michael Ledeen asks: “I wonder why Sy Hersh wasn’t on top of this one? What, no witless ex-spooks around to tell him? And Risen, Lichtblau, and those lovable leakers who get fed by Newsweek?”
