Inside Hezbollah’s free fire zone

Michael J. Totten writes from northern Israel that he has just filed his first lengthy dispatch from the front line of the Lebanon/Israel war, including lots of photos: “Inside Hezbollah’s free fire zone.” He adds that he’s set up in Israel and that “now that I’ve done that dispatches should roll in a bit more regularly.” Historian Michael Oren (author of the excellent Six Days of War) makes a cameo appearance as an IDF spokesman with some discreet but revealing comments on the outcome of the war.
