Report: Iranian Soldiers Found In Lebanon

Blog of the Week Vital Perspective says that an Israeli television station is reporting that “members of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard have been found among Hezbollah terrorists killed by Israeli forces in southern Lebanon.”

It said the Iranians were identified by documents found on their bodies, but gave no further details on how many were discovered or when. Neither the IDF nor Hezbollah representatives in Beirut had immediate comment on the report.

It’s also been reported that Israel has appointed a new commander for its expanded ground offensive. At the moment, Israel has its hands full with Hezbollah, so I doubt that they will do much, for now, with any evidence of small-scale Iranian troop involvement.
