I guess that’s why they call him “the Dean”

David Broder says the media owes Karl Rove an apology over what he calls the Plame leak “silliness.” Noting that the Wilson-Plame case has been “overblown from the start,” Broder singles out Sidney Blumenthal’s treatment of Rove as particularly egregious, adding that “Blumenthal’s example is far from unique.”

Well said, “Dean” Broder. But don’t hold your breath waiting for media apologies.
