Senate minority blogger

Senate Republicans have hired blogger Jon Henke to be their “new media director.” Apparently, his job will be to “monitor the blogosphere to find out what’s going on. . .to correct anything that’s incorrect. . .and to make sure that the Republican message is represented.” Last fall, Henke ran blog operations for Sen. George Allen’s campaign.
Henke is no friend of Power Line, but we hope he does a good job for the Senate Republicans.
SCOTT adds: I dealt with Jon in his position with the Allen campaign. I thought he did a good job under unexpectedly difficult circumstances for Senator Allen and expect that he’ll do a good job in his new position.
PAUL adds: Naturally, his attacks on Webb sat better with me than his attacks on Power Line.
