Political valentines

NRO asked a group of conservatives to identify their “one true political love.” I was not alone in naming Margaret Thatcher. If this were a dance, Lady Thatcher would be assigned two dates — Ronald Reagan and Rudy Giuliani.
UPDATE: My friend Ed Morissey showed his usual good judgment when he selected Reagan. Lucianne Goldberg called Reagan her “permanent political valentine recipient,” before selecting Lady Thatcher this time around. Kathryn Lopez and Mona Charen made what I thought were the coolest selections, Bob Dornan and the long-forgotten Speaker Thomas Reed, respectively.
