Blaming America First

Michael Barone recalls the late, great, already-missed Jeane Kirkpatrick and decries the widespread ignorance of history among those who “blame America first” in his excellent column today. He also quotes the same words from the speech by Senator Lieberman that Paul flagged last week: “There is something profoundly wrong when opposition to the war in Iraq seems to inspire greater passion than opposition to Islamist extremism.”
