A dissent on David Halberstam

At blog of the foreseeable future Armavirumque, Roger Kimball has posted a dissent on David Halberstam. At the end of his post Roger links to the New York Sun editorial on Halberstam’s passing (which he finds an “honorable exception” to the encomia on his career) and Hilton Kramer’s elegant essay on Halberstam’s book on the Fifties.
