Giuliani’s Contract With America

giulianibug.gif In a speech today, Rudy Giuliani unveiled his “Twelve Commitments to the American People.” It’s a sort of Contract With America, at the executive rather than legislative level. Each “Commitment” is a broad statement of principle; Giuliani says that he will elaborate on them over the course of the campaign.
The Giulini campaign has laid out the Twelve Commitments in our Candidates’ Forum. Go there, check them out, and leave a message for the Giuliani campaign, telling them what you think.
I’ll tell you what I think: there is a whole lot there for conservatives, and many other Americans, to like. And the device could be a useful organizing tool, especially for Rudy: most people have, I think, a clearer idea of his personality than his positions.
