A note from the editors

Below we question the accuracy of Dean Barnett’s description of us as “wizened” in his Weekly Standard article “The lopsided netroots.” Tonight the editors of the Weekly Standard have issued a statement:

We have several of our staff looking into the case of the mysterious use of the word “wizened.” Indeed, being the diligent newsmen we are, we’re re-reporting Dean’s whole piece. (For some reason we’re having trouble getting in touch with Dean.) For now, we’ve found three anonymous sources, two of whom do think it’s possible that at least one of you may be, or might be thought to be, or at least can’t be proved not to be, “wizened.”
The investigation continues. We’ll report on further progress in a few months.

Let’s just say we’re not holding our breath.
