HillaryCare, a post-cursor

A week or so ago, I wrote about the the battle over whether to extend, and substantially enlarge the scope of, the State Children’s Health Insurance program (SCHIP). I called the piece “HillaryCare, a precursor” and argued that by pushing for a health care entitlement program for children in middle class families, the Democrats are hoping to pave the way for government-run health care on a more general scale.
