I’m in Las Vegas for the Blog World Expo. At 10:15 this morning I’ll be on a panel hosted by Hugh Hewitt; later this afternoon I’ll participate in one led by journalism professor David Perlmutter. The event is at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
We’re staying at the Paris Hotel, which, like Las Vegas in general, is clearly extraordinary, but whether in a good way or a bad way is hard to say.
This is my first visit to Las Vegas in around 25 years. Much has changed, but the distinctive Vegas aesthetic seems to be thriving.
I’ll have a more substantive report later.
