Let’s Hear It All!

Fox News has now confirmed that in his off-air, inadvertently recorded rant against Barack Obama, Jesse Jackson used the “N-word.” Fox still has not released the full tape of Jackson’s attack on Obama, however, so we don’t know what else may be on it.

Some observers also think that, in the part of the video that has been released, Jackson referred to Obama as “Barack Hussein.” I’ve listened to it five or ten times, and I’m not sure:

It seems pretty obvious, though, that the entire tirade is newsworthy. Jackson has been considered a leading figure in the Democratic Party for a couple of decades, and was once a credible candidate for President. It’s hard to understand why comments as incendiary as we know these were shouldn’t be reported in their entirety.
