Too Good To Be True, Probably

CBS News has an unverified report that Ayman al-Zawahiri was seriously wounded, and perhaps killed, in Monday’s air strike that reportedly killed another senior al Qaeda leader, Abu Khabab al-Masri. Intelligence sources say they have no information that Zawahiri was at the location where the missile strike occurred.

It seems likely that sooner or later, we’ll get lucky with respect to Zawahiri and bin Laden. Maybe this is the time, but the odds are probably against it.
