John McCain: The infomercial

Last night John McCain appeared on the opening of Saturday Night Live with Tina Fey as Sarah Palin. The sketch was funny, in the “it only hurts when I laugh” vein. As the Puffington Host explains, “the sketch showed the Republican ticket hosting a show on QVC, spreading their message and selling McCain-themed items (pork knives for cutting pork) due to their own limited funds.”

“Governor Palin” hawks a complete line of “Joe” action figures. Mrs. McCain displays a line of McCain Fine Gold, commemorating McCain-Feingold and also looking great with evening wear. Senator McCain identifies his Hollywood supporters.
