Headless body in gutless press

John Hinderaker offered “no comment” on the news story of the beautiful Muslim woman beheaded by her Muslim husband (described as “a prominent Orchard Park man”) in upsate New York. Mark Steyn comments on the “muted” media coverage in “Headless body in gutless press.” (Mark adapts his heading from the all-time classic 1982 New York Post headline: “Headless body in topless bar.”)

UPDATE: Glenn Reynolds names the photo caption of the year: “The couple in happier times, before Hassan removed his wife’s head.”

JOHN adds: And, finally, Roger Kimball, in an epic breach of political correctness, refers to Hassan’s headchopping as “the full Muslim.”
