Criminally useful idiocy, part 4

RealClearPolitics flags Charles Krauthammer’s column today with the heading “Obama clueless on Iran.” It’s enough to make one wonder whether Obama supports the Iranian regime. Whose side is he on? Krauthammer captures Obama’s pitiful obsequiousness to the powers-that-be confrtonting the popular uprising against the Iranian thugocracy:

[A]fter treating this popular revolution as an inconvenience to the real business of Obama-Khamenei negotiations, the president speaks favorably of “some initial reaction from the Supreme Leader that indicates he understands the Iranian people have deep concerns about the election.”

Where to begin? “Supreme Leader”? Note the abject solicitousness with which the American president confers this honorific on a clerical dictator who, even as his minions attack demonstrators, offers to examine some returns in some electoral districts — a farcical fix that will do nothing to alter the fraudulence of the election.

The people of Israel are also attending to Obama’s words and deeds. Carl in Jerusalem notes the the percentage of Jewish Israelis who see Obama as pro-Israel has declined from 31 percent to six percent in the month including Obama’s Cairo address to the Muslim world. The Jerusalem Post article is here, the poll is here.
