Cheering Up the National Political Scene

I’m a big fan of Sarah Palin, an exemplar of the longstanding American tradition of citizen reformers. At the same time, I don’t take her very seriously as a 2012 Presidential candidate. Still, there is no denying that she brings a unique dimension to our often ugly political scene. This month’s Runner’s World features an interview/pictorial with Governor Palin. The slide show is well worth checking out:

Say what you will about Governor Palin, no one else in politics brightens your day in quite the same way. The interview reflects her generous, good-humored personality, as well.
