Breitbart against the bastards

February 6, 2010 Posted by Scott at 10:25 AM

Glenn Reynolds and Dr. Helen Smith interview Andrew Breitbart at the Nashville Tea Party convention. The PJTV video is accessible herehere. The interview is twenty minutes long, but it covers a lot of ground and is full of good stuff all the way through.

Around the 10:00 minute mark, for example, Breitbart mentions running into one of the Bay City Rollers at a Tea Party event. The Bay City Rollers? You know, the group that made its American debut on the first show of the short-lived Saturday Night Live with Howard Cosell series ("[o]ver the (very brief) run of this series, Cosell seemed to go out of his way to get the worst acts possible"). Remember?

JOHN demurs: It's probably an admission against interest, but I actually liked the Bay City Rollers. I'm glad to learn that at least one of them has turned out to be a conservative!

UPDATE: Jim Hoft posts video of Breitbart's speech at the convention. On the subject of the big media, Breitbart has this quotable quote: "It's not your business model that sucks, it's you that sucks."
