You will call, I will answer

William Stuntz is a professor at Harvard Law School who has published broadly and engaged with our own Paul Mirengoff on occasion. Over the past 10 years Professor Stuntz has also struggled with increasingly excruciating pain deriving from a back injury. Then in February 2008 a large malignant tumor was discovered in his body. His cancer has metastasized and spread through his body to other organs, and he is not expected to live more than a year. He is 52.
Professor Stuntz is a reflective Christian. Timothy Dalrymple interviewed him to explore the spiritual component of his physical ordeal. The interview is posted under the evocative heading “You will call, I will answer,” and is worth the time it takes to read it.
