I wrote here about my interview last Friday with Marco Rubio, soon to be named the Republican candidate for the Senate in Florida. Rubio has experienced a mercurial rise; beginning as an almost laughable underdog, he electrified Florida conservatives and drove Governor Charlie Crist out of the Republican primary. Rubio is a young, dynamic, principled conservative with excellent political skills. But his biggest political skill is simple: he consistently says what he really thinks. Here is my interview from last Friday; check it out and see whether you think Rubio is worthy of your support:
After spending some time with Rubio, I contributed to his campaign. I urge you to go here and do the same.
