The Obama Diaries live in Minneapolis

Laura Ingraham is the Dartmouth alum and former law clerk to Justice Clarence Thomas who hosts a highly entertaining nationally syndicated radio talk show that is carried on 323 stations across the United States. In the Twin Cities it is carried on KTLK 100.3 FM from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m.
Laura’s most recent project is The Obama Diaries. She is bringing the debut of a show based on the book to the Pantages Theater in downtown Minneapolis this Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m. We invited Laura to write a promotional announcement for our readers about the show. Here it is:

The show is a wild romp through the innermost thoughts and reflections of America’s most beloved and reviled political power couple. Three days before the most historic mid-term election in 50 years, I take the Obamas as seriously as the deserve.
This is a perfect Halloween event…plenty of treats for the audience and more tricks for the stalwart liberals in the Twin Cities who are still carrying water for all things Obama. Special guests from as far away as Tinseltown will make surprise appearances, and look out because I heard that President Obama himself claims to have booked the same theater in Minny on the same night as the Diaries will be performed! Expect a showdown.
And yes, of course, in the spirit of the tea party movement, there will be plenty of audience participation. Tom Emmer and Michele Bachmann are attending and I will be doing fundraisers for both when in town.

Tickets are available here through Ticketmaster. Brian Maginnis of Clear Channel advises us that the event is “close to sellout out but [tickets are] still available.” The live show resumes with stops in Dallas (November 20) and Houston (November 21).
