Marco Rubio has won, of course, but what about the key House races?
The news is good. Republican Daniel Webster has defeated the despicable Alan Grayson (FL-8). And incumbent Democrat Allen Boyd (FL-2) is losing by about 15 points with 40 percent of the vote in.
IN OTHER GOOD HOUSE NEWS: In New Jersey’s Third District, former Philadelphia Jon Runyon is 20 points ahead of incumbent Democrat John Adler. Only about a third of the vote has been counted, but Runyon’s lead is more than 15,000 votes.
And in Virginia’s Second District, Republican Scott Rigell has unseated Democrat Glenn Nye. Throw in Rick Boucher and Tom Perriello, and that’s three pick-ups. And a fourth is possible. In Northern Virginia, only about 100 votes separate Rep. Gerry Connolly and his Republican challenger Keith Fimian, with about 60 percent of the vote counted (Fimian has the lead).
