A Tornado of Destruction

How are tornadoes like liberal policies? Both are terribly destructive; liberalism, on a far greater scale. How are they different? Tornadoes are impossible to predict, whereas the baleful effects of liberalism have been well known for at least a generation and are not just predictable, but certain.
