I get a lot of invitations to boring things here in DC. But this just might be worth attending just to see if someone at the Canadian embassy is drinking too much Canadian Club, or taking that old Michael Kinsley boring-headline-contest too seriously (“Worthwhile Canadian Initiative” was the winner).
