Reagan vs. Obama

I know a historian who wrote a brilliant article about how Democrats are misappropriating Ronald Reagan for purposes fundamentally at odds with Reagan’s own. The Democrat-in-Chief was back at it again this week. It’s almost pathetic. It is certanly pathetically dishonest. Even the Washington Post called a foul. As the historian observed last year: “Obama’s appropriation was and is disingenuous on every level.” This week was same as it ever was.

For something a little closer to the mark, let’s take a look at Reagan vs. Obama: Social Economics 101. It features a supporting cast of former presidents with a cameo appearance by Richard Nixon.

UPDATE: Bill Kristol takes a look at “What Reagan actually said.”
