Preview of a Coming Attraction

A couple of weeks ago we did a very soft launch of Power Line Live, which you likely haven’t noticed but is actually quite visible between the “Home” and “About Us” links at the top of our home page. If you haven’t seen it, you can check out Power Line Live by following the link above. It is sort of like a bar, and there may not be anyone hanging out there at the moment. But our plan is for Power Line Live to be a place where our readers can hang out and chat whenever they feel like it.

It turned out that our original software had some bugs, so we have revamped PL Live with new software and will launch it more or less officially on Tuesday. We are inviting our readers to hang out there starting around 5 p.m., maybe, as we await the election results from Wisconsin. Then, as results start to come in, we can talk about them; and if, as we hope, Governor Walker is victorious, we can discuss the implications of his victory. It will be a chat room, only with smart fellow chatters. I am thinking we will open PL Live at around 4 or 5 p.m. on Tuesday. How it goes from there will be up to our readers.
