The Hinderaker-Ward Experience, Beer and Ammo Edition

Brian Ward and I recorded our biweekly (more or less) podcast this morning. Before we got to the very big news of the day, we had news of our own: our podcast is now sponsored by Audible.com. Needless to say, the revenue isn’t much, but as I said on the podcast, I calculate that it will almost exactly equal my monthly consumption of beer and ammunition.

The news, of course, includes the Supreme Court’s Obamacare decision and the House’s bipartisan criminal contempt vote against Eric Holder. Joining us to discuss those topics was Congressman John Kline of Minnesota’s Second District, my congressman and one of the House’s most respected members. We got Congressman Kline’s thoughts on what lies ahead for Congress with respect to both of those issues, and how they will impact the political scene.

As usual, we awarded our Loon of the Week and This Week In Gatekeeping prizes. Beer and Ammo is, as you would expect, a highly entertaining episode of HWX. And if you are interested in a more detailed exposition of my views on the Obamacare decision than I posted here, this podcast is the place to go.

Not only that, if you go to www.audiblepodcast.com/powerline, you are, if I understand the promotion correctly, eligible for a free ebook.

You can listen to the podcast by playing it right here, or you can go to Ricochet to download or subscribe to the podcast in various ways, or you can hit the subscribe button in the graphic above to subscribe on iTunes or elsewhere. Or you can use Stitcher. There are many ways to experience the Hinderaker-Ward Experience!

But, hey, don’t stop there! Now that we are being (slightly) compensated on a per-download basis, please tell your friends about HWX. You can even give friends and family a free HWX subscription via iTunes; they will thank you for sure. Who knows? If you spread the word, I may be able to increase my beer and ammo consumption.
