Fighting Back On Medicare

If there was one sure thing in this year’s election, it was that the Democrats would demagogue Medicare. You might ask: isn’t that a little tough when Obama cut $716 billion from Medicare to finance Obamacare? Nah. Who needs facts when you’re Barack Obama? So the Democrats are raising money on Mediscare; this email came out today:

So the Romney campaign is fighting back with this ad, called “Paid In.”

Actually, demagoguing Medicare may be as close to the issues as the Democrats get this year. Everything else they do is even worse. Earlier today, Joe Biden told an audience that if Mitt Romney is elected, “They’re going to put y’all back in chains.” On Twitter, someone named Gary Grams found a silver lining:

Well, if we are in chains, we can’t get pushed off the cliff in our wheelchairs… there is that.
