The Hinderaker-Ward Experience, Episode 32: Andy McCarthy on the Middle East [Bumped]

In case you missed it over the weekend, check out Episode 32 of the Hinderaker-Ward Experience:

This morning Brian Ward and I recorded Episode 32 of the Hinderaker-Ward Experience, a hot-off-the-presses discussion of events in North Africa and the Middle East. I laid out at greater length than I have so far on this site my belief that the story of what happened in Benghazi doesn’t make sense, and that the Obama administration is engaged in a cover-up that it hopes can extend beyond the election. I also explained why I think the administration’s cover-up is likely to fail.

Then we did a terrific interview with Andy McCarthy, talking about his new book Spring Fever: The Illusion of Arab Democracy, and how its themes relate to the current crisis in the Islamic world. Andy is one of the world’s leading experts on Islamic radicalism, and the conversation is highly revealing.

We wrapped up with This Week In Gatekeeping, where we honored the Associated Press for “outing” the creator of the film that is ludicrously being blamed for the violence in North Africa on an Israeli Jew, and The Loon of the Week award, which went to Democratic Congresswoman Yvette Clark for her mastery of American history. It is, I think, one of our better shows ever.

You can listen to the podcast by playing it right here, or you can go to Ricochet to download or subscribe to the podcast in various ways, or you can hit the subscribe button in the graphic above to subscribe on iTunes or elsewhere. Or you can use Stitcher. There are many ways to experience the Hinderaker-Ward Experience, but I think the best is by subscribing on iTunes. That way, you never have to worry about missing an episode.
