Mitt Romney, the Human Side

Mitt Romney’s latest ad, “Humanity,” is the kind of soft-focus, not to say pandering, commercial that I don’t tend to like. It features women who were members of Romney’s cabinet in Massachusetts, explaining how well Mitt understands working women. I suppose it’s effective, if the viewer is used to seeing Obama ads portraying Romney as an ogre:

This one is more to my taste; it features a few snippets from last night’s debate, with Romney talking about the economy. The reason why Romney came out ahead in last night’s debate is that he had plenty of opportunity to bang away at Obama’s record. This is just the tip of the iceberg:
