Update on Power Line Senate picks

As noted earlier, Josh Mandel has lost in Ohio. Right now, Sherrod Brown leads that race 51-44.

STEVE adds: People around Ohio in my recent visits there all said the same thing–Mandel was too young, and seemed to be moving too quickly to try to move up the ladder, having just arrived as state treasurer.  But no one else stepped up to challenge Brown, so they give him props for doing it.  And Brown is a hard-charging campaigner.  We haven’t heard the last of Mandel.

In North Dakota, Rick Berg holds a slender 1,500 vote lead over Heidi Heitkamp. The margin is 51-49.

In very earlier results from Montana, Denny Rehberg trails Jon Tester by about 4,000 votes (57-42).

Thanks to all of our readers who supported one or more the Power Line Pick Six candidates.
