Most Outrageous Reporting of 2012

Brent Bozell’s Media Research Center performs a great service in keeping tabs on the increasingly over-the-top left-wing media. The Center has just announced its 25th Annual Awards for the Year’s Worst Reporting. You can read the winning entries in a number of categories and watch video of liberals going around the bend here.

This year’s grand prize winner was MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry for this balanced account of American history:

As you can imagine, MSNBC figures heavily in this year’s awards. One of the runners-up in the “Quote of the Year” category was Chris Matthews, for his barely-sane tribute to Hurricane Sandy:

There are lots more categories, and plenty of entertainment value. Thanks to Media Research Center for doing one of those jobs that most Americans won’t do, because it’s too depressing–documenting liberal media insanity.
