You Know It’s Winter In Minnesota When…

On the way home from the office tonight, I picked up a six pack of beer. When I pulled into my garage, the temperature was -1 F. Not epic by any means, but pretty darn cold. We have a sort of overflow refrigerator in our garage, and I realized I had better put the beer there–not to keep it cold, but to keep it warm. If I had left it out in the garage, the bottles would have frozen and may have exploded.

If you live in a part of the country where you never have to put foods and beverages in the refrigerator to protect them from the cold, you really don’t know what you’re missing.
