The Hinderaker-Ward Experience, Episode 50: Zimmerman and More

Brian Ward and I taped Episode 50 of the Hinderaker-Ward Experience a few hours ago. With the George Zimmerman jury still deliberating, we recapped the case and its cultural and political, as well as legal, significance. We had a fun conversation with guest Jeff Johnson, who is seeking the Republican nomination to take on Minnesota’s appalling governor, Mark Dayton.

Our Loon of the Week was a poet–well, you can be the judge of that–who speculates on what might happen if a certain organ was a firearm. You can probably guess what television station won our This Week In Gatekeeping prize. And we welcomed HWX Listener/Ricochet Member of the Week Patrick Gibbs, who was the first to name a prior podcast’s phrase that pays in the Ricochet comments section.

All in all, another entertaining episode.

You can listen to the podcast by playing it right here, or you can go to Ricochet to download or subscribe to the podcast in various ways, or you can subscribe on iTunes or elsewhere. Or you can use Stitcher. There are many ways to experience the Hinderaker-Ward Experience, but I think the best is by subscribing on iTunes. That way, you never have to worry about missing an episode.
