Cleta Mitchell: The IRS scandals, part 1

Cleta Mitchell is the prominent Washington attorney whose practice has given her a front row seat on the IRS scandals. Cleta advises nonprofit and issue organizations, corporations, candidates, campaigns, and individuals on state and federal campaign finance law, election law, and compliance issues related to lobbying, ethics and financial disclosure. Her practice therefore brings her into close contact with the IRS and the FEC. She represents several nonprofit clients that have been victims of the very real misconduct of Obama’s IRS. The Wall Street Journal’s James Freeman profiled Cleta for the Journal’s Weekend Interview series this past June in “Cleta Mitchell: How to investigate the IRS.”

On the just completed NR cruise Cleta gave one of the most compelling presentations involving matters of current topical interest. I asked her if she would let me record some of her comments in four short videos. The first is below.

I asked Cleta how she was introduced to the IRS scandals: “What opened the window onto the IRS’s misconduct for you?” Please attend to what she has to say. She knows what she is talking about.

Thanks to Cleta for taking the time with me for the videos.
