The Hinderaker-Ward Experience, Episode 55: Bookmarks Edition, With John Ondrasik

Brian Ward and I recorded Episode 55 of the Hinderaker-Ward Experience yesterday morning. We discussed the issues of the day–the 17% shutdown and the Obamacare rollout, mostly. We awarded a triple-play Loon of the Week to the leadership of the Democratic Party, which is loonier than ever.

And we interviewed John Ondrasik of Five for Fighting. We talked about Bookmarks, his terrific new album, which you can buy at iTunes or Amazon. We also discussed John’s experiences as a lonely conservative in the entertainment world and talked about how conservatives can better compete in the popular culture. After the interview, John went for a run along the Mall in Washington, D.C., and, in one of the low moments of the Obama administration’s shutdown theater, got kicked out of the Jefferson Memorial. It is, on the whole, a very fun show.

This episode of the Hinderaker-Ward Experience was sponsored by the fine folks at Encounter Books. In particular, we promoted Encounter’s new book Terms of Engagement: How Our Courts Should Enforce the Constitution’s Promise of Limited Government. If you follow the link to Terms of Engagement and enter the code “RICOCHET” at checkout, you will get an additional 15% off. Our thanks to Encounter Books for their support.

You can listen to the podcast by playing it right here, or you can go to Ricochet to download or subscribe to the podcast in various ways, or you can subscribe on iTunes or elsewhere. Or you can use Stitcher. There are many ways to experience the Hinderaker-Ward Experience, but I think the best is by subscribing on iTunes. That way, you never have to worry about missing an episode.
