Boehner’s blast

John Boehner sent something of a mixed message to the outside groups he decried at the press conference on the budget deal this past week. He actually said this: “They pushed us into this fight to defund Obamacare and to shut down the government. Most of you know, my members know, that wasn’t exactly the strategy I had in mind.”

I believe that can be interpreted: I am weak! You can push me around!

Like other messages one can derive from his remarks, I’m not sure that’s what he really wanted to say, but he said it with a striking amount of conviction.
