“Piers Morgan and CNN Plan to End His Prime-Time Show.” Of course, when Piers Morgan came on, it was no longer “prime time.” It wasn’t even garbage time. It was just plain awful. The New York Times reports, without any self-awareness, that Morgan just couldn’t connect with “a CNN audience that is intrinsically provincial.” (“Provincial”? The Times? Hadn’t realized they started hiring failed comedy writers.)
I have every confidence that CNN will find someone just as awful to replace him.
