#BringBackOurGirls? Here’s a Better Idea

The #BringBackOurGirls hashtag–which apparently was originated by Hillary Clinton, who resisted all efforts to have Boko Haram listed as a terrorist organization when she was Secretary of State–has been widely ridiculed. Not that there is anything wrong with the sentiment, but hashtag diplomacy is unlikely to influence the leaders of Boko Haram. Mark Steyn proposed an alternative, #BringBackOurBalls, which is definitely an improvement. Michael Ramirez makes the point a bit more decorously:
